The Salat times of the five daily prayers are calculated based on the location obtained via GPS. The app also calculates the Qibla direction relative to true north and the sun position.
The display of the Salat times is user-friendly, with the next prayer time highlighted in green for easy reference.
Users have a choice of five different Adhans to use as alarms for each of the five Salat times. Each alarm time is adjustable by up to +/- 100 minutes from the current Salat time. Additionally, there are five different tone alarms available.
By pressing the Next Button, users can view the following day's schedule. Holding down the Next Button reveals the timetable for the next 30 days. Similarly, this feature is available for the Previous button.
The alarm time for each Salat can be individually set by adjusting its slider.
For Fajr and Ishaa prayer times, users are offered four calculation methods. One option, named 80/90 Mins, was developed under the guidance of Khalifatul Masih IV. This method specifies that if there is twilight at a location, the Fajr angle is set at 90 minutes before sunrise; otherwise, it is set at 80 minutes before sunrise. There is a latitude threshold of 55.87 degrees; if there is no twilight above this latitude, the timings are calculated for a location at latitude 55.87 degrees.
Additional options are provided for various locations, with calculations for Fajr and Ishaa times considering the sun's position when it is 18 degrees, 16 degrees, or 12 degrees below the horizon.
Users can assign up to five different Adhans and tones for each Salat time. Alarms can be set at the exact prayer time or adjusted by up to +/- 100 minutes from that time.
In the Adhan Alarm screen, clicking on the reset button realigns active adhan slider times to their midpoint (i.e., the Salat time). Holding down this button resets all five adhan slider times to their midpoint. Users can listen to the Adhan by selecting an Adhan Alarm button and silence it by selecting the same button.
When an alarm sounds, users can silence it by clicking on the alarm notification. The Qibla direction provided is based on true north and can also be set by aligning with the sun's position.
